Stay Home. Play Together. Heroes Unite.
Heroes,
During the past weeks the Sharks have been working from home, and in an earlier Developer Update we went into lengths about what these changes meant for the Sharks and the entire office. Staying at home can be a challenge and the Sharks are helping each other with new ideas to stay inspired. This community event was born from such an idea, and we hope that you will join us in this new endeavour.
Together we can make a difference. Between the 16th and 30th of April we are inviting you to take part in a community challenge.
Fill the Counter - Unlock a New Frame
In tough times we need each other, and the Ubersreik 5 are no exception. Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is ultimately a co-op game, designed to create situations only teamwork can solve, and with this challenge we wish to invite you as a community to come together and help the Reikland. Stay home. Play Together. Heroes Unite.
You have until April 30th to complete the Community Challenge.
Fill the bar by defeating Skaven, Rotblood, and Beastmen in Warhammer: Vermintide 2 and be rewarded with a new portrait frame†. To help you keep track we have set up a Kill Counter that is updated in near real-time. All platforms are included in the counter.Play Apart Together!
†The portrait frame will be added in the next update for all platforms.

We've chosen to support Save the Children's global COVID response!
As the global leader in child-focused humanitarian response, Save the Children mobilized immediately to provide support. Their global response is quickly expanding and with presence in 120 countries around the world it so far involves:
Health - Distribution of protective supplies such as face masks, soap and hand sanitizers and preparation of global health teams including training in how to protect themselves and prevent further spread of the disease. They are also supplying the personal protective equipment the frontline health staff desperately needs.
Education - Delivering messaging to educate families and schools on supporting children’s mental health and in how preventing the spread of the virus aswell as supplies to ensure learning continues at home throughout sweeping school-closures across the world.
Protection - Training childcare workers to identify vulnerable and separated children and ensure they are cared for.
Global coordination - Working with the WHO and leading READY, a consortium to support governments and the international community with pandemic preparedness.
Save the Children's teams are rapidly adapting existing work whilst preparing for outbreaks of coronavirus in countries with weakened health systems, fragile contexts or a limited capacity to respond due to other ongoing crises, such as conflict or natural disasters. If we work together we can beat it!
